I wanna make designs for like those cool modern-ish t-shirts. Like this one http://profile.ak.facebook.com/object2/1295/11/n5251894158_4665.jpg

That’s for and organization with my church. But how do you make graphics designs like that?

I would agree, Adobe Photoshop or even better is "Corel Draw" – its a really great program for designing t-shirts.

If you need any help or have any ideas you want to try out before you go out on your own try visiting http://www.digitalmayheminc.com.
If the owners are on the site they will do a live chat and are usually very helpful.

Good Luck!

They probably used Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro or something similar to those programs. There are a ton of free graphic design programs though. Just search Google and you get a bunch of hits.

And to print the image, all you need is a printer and T-Shirt Transfer Paper. You can find it at Office Max or a similar store.

Adobe Illustrator is a great program for making graphic images. Besides iron-ons, you might want to try screen printing. Art stores like Hobby Lobby sell kits you can use. Screen printing really is the best way to put graphics onto a shirt. here’s a youtube video with a quick outline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee_8IMx0uMo
