How do you transfer the design onto the t shirt when making tshirts?
I just thought of making a business about t shirt design, and i wondered how to transfer the design, i know theres some kind of iron transfer sheet paper, but that’s hassle, but is there some kind of special ink for the iron transfer sheet?
Professionals usually use a silkscreening process. The iron on transfers that some use are not really very good quality, and will quickly come off the shirt.

I saw a program on TV about this. Use sandpader. Draw the design on the rough side using wax crayons. careful use wax (the heat of iron melts the wax & you also have a sparkling effect due to the small sand particles of the sand paper)crayons and draw the mirror image of the design. now put the paper on the fabric and iron it. you should have the design printed nicely. though I never tried this on large scale, but, I once made a pattern on my plain T-shirt & it really was beautiful. first try the technique on some old clothes then use on original fabrics ! ! mind this is only a kid’s technique. Another way is by dye-sublimation. You will need special inks and printer, also a heat press. If you search for dye-sublimation in Yahoo or Google plenty of information is available there.
