How do i make my own commercial t-shirt design?

Posted on October 6th, 2009 by admin in shirt design | 3 Comments »

I’m here in the Philippines and I’m planning to make my own t-shirt brand. I already have a brand name in mind but my problem is how to make or create that designs for commercial use. I know that it’s easy if it is for my personal use but how do I do it if I’m planning to produce 500 pieces as initial production? Help pls. Thanks!

The easiest way would probably be to use a print-on-demand company…. online shops that you can customize….. no inventory…. one of the big ones with a very active marketplace charges less than $7 per month for a nice premium shop…. other than that, a lot of the POD companies offer free shops…

You can offer a wide variety of products such a t-shirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, keepsake boxes, fine art, greeting cards, etc.

You create designs with a graphics program like Photoshop then create your storefront and promote it. The POD companies do all of the product creation, shipping, customer care, etc.

You won’t do very well if you haven’t got the gumption to figure out a better way to get the information you need.
