invisible children shirt design?

Posted on March 2nd, 2010 by admin in design at shirt | 1 Comment »

i’ve been asked by the invisible children club at my school to draw up some shirt designs for the club. Basically it is an organization that helps the war relief effort in Uganda. I’m all tapped out of ideas however, and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

How about using negative space in the shape of a child.Use the words Invisible children’s club to define the negative space, just one idea from the top of my feeble old mind.Good luck with your project.

Im 13 and have a bank account. If I make money designing t-shirts online at spreadshirt….?

Posted on March 2nd, 2010 by admin in online t shirt design | 2 Comments »

Well basically could I? Could I put my bank details on there so that if people bought my t-shirt I designed the money would go to my bank account? How would I get my bank details as I dont have a card as I am under 18?
Im not asking HOW to make money, I already am enjoying designing t-shirts at Spreadshirt, I want to know if I can get money into my account. Read stuff properly people!

DO NOT put your account details online try using something like paypal which acts as a go between between you and your customers.

If you could design your own favorite band t-shirt what would it look like?

I’m not sure what mine would look like but I want one of the shirts in this video!
Justice- D.A.N.C.E.

I love D.A.N.C.E!

If the person looking at the t-shirt started to think someone slipped LSD into their drink, my mission would be complete. :)

Either that, or something like this http://www.stadium-arcadium.com/main/images/bio_images/rhcp_bio_original.jpg in t-shirt form, if you can imagine it the way I’m imagining it, hahaha.

If you have an idea for a t-shirt design and name, can you copyright the design? How about a name?

Posted on February 26th, 2010 by admin in design at shirt | 2 Comments »

I have a branding concept that I would like to explore, which would include a name that isn’t out there at present.

The temporary, quick cheap way to copyright is to mail the design and and name to yourself. When it arrives in the mail, do not open it. That is your copyright. If you are very serious about it, it will cost you more money. I think you trademark company names, not copyright them. But the design can be copyrighted.

I want to custom design a t-shirt. Which company is the best for doing this? ?

I don’t want your run-of-the-mill online t-shirt designer. I want to make it look nice… any ideas and suggestions are helpful. Thanks!

http://www.digatee.com/ With the highest quality digital press anywhere, I can assure you this is no "run-of-the mill" online designer. This company strives to give their customers the best possible product available. They will do anything to please their customer.

how do you design your own T-Shirt on the Computer?

Posted on February 24th, 2010 by admin in design your own shirt | 4 Comments »

I have several designs that i want to use to make some T-shirts, but i have no clue how to get them from my head and a piece of paper to the computer to save them. Do i use a photoshop to make the graphics? they are more like phrases not pictures though, so how do i go about fonts and cool designs?? i can not figure it out. and i dont want to buy photoshop if it isnt going to do it….. kinda like those shirts you would see at www.cafepress.com but i dont want to pay someone to make the one i want , not worth it. What do i do?
ok i downloaded GIMP. now i just have to figure it out!!! LOL

first find a half decent supplier of plain t-shirts.
for example; http://www.europeanwear.com

then just pop down whsmith and pick up some transfer paper. You print on it and then iron the print into your t-shirt.
