How do you design your own t-shirt?
I always see people at concerts and events with their own little customized t-shirts, but I was wondering where you can get a totally blank white or black t-shirt, and what kind of materials you design it with so it can make it through the wash. I’m guessing everything can be found at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby or something, but I’m too lazy to look around a lot for what I need. Thanks!
I would recommend that you use Cafepress.com or Zazzle.com. Designing your t-shirts with either photoshop or GIMP.org (free). Simply upload your designs to the sites and they create the t-shirt for you or anything else for that matter. They have a ton of apparel to put designs on.

Micheal’s actually has one whole aisle dedicated for that sort of stuff.
You’d need T-Shirt transfer paper, and maybe some iron on decals…and fabric paint.
You just print out what you want on the transfer paper, and then peel off the back and put it on your shirt where you want it. Then you put a piece of parchment paper on top and iron it on. It’s quite easy and usually takes about an hour, maybe less.
