what program can be used to arrange fonts and graphics to design t-shirts?
anyone know of a free program? like how do they make those i heart new york shirts? i’m trying to find out how to bring my ideas to life to share with the world!
You can use any graphic program you want to make them. Even MS Word or Paint. You just have to get the right kind of paper, print your artwork onto that paper, and iron it onto a T-shirt.
I used to work for a company that made T-shirts this way. We used PaintShop and/or Corel Draw, but like I said, any program you can draw in, place images in, or whatever you can use.
Oh, one restriction, though.. those iron-ons only work on LIGHT colored shirts, preferably white. The color of the shirt will show through, and if it’s a black shirt, you won’t see it at all.

Hi, not too many good free programs out there, but most people use some sort of illustration software. Adobe Illustrator is a popular illustration program and t-shirt templates can be obtained to give you the layout you are looking for. Corel also has a few packages that may interest you. All of these programs have 30-day trial downloads that might peak your interest.
