I am a fashion designer with 1yr. work exp. n have been into surface embellishments and embroideries. Now, I want to design graphics and logos for t-shirt prints. I am on a 4 months break from job and want to learn the necessary software. Plz. suggest about courses that I can pursue.

Adobe Illustrator is the best software to use to create graphics for any kind of printing. It’s quite pricey, but you can join a site like Lynda.com to access video tutorials as well as search the web for whatever Illustrator tutorials might be out there. There are also a number of books you can get like Adobe’s Classroom in a Book series that you might also find helpful. Good luck; I hope this helps.

the best graphics programmes as far as I am concerned is illustrator and photoshop, both are not cheap, but you will get a reduced cost for a student edition, I dont know exact courses as it depends on where you are, but a course that involves them is a good start.

They are not easy to learn, but once you have the hang of them, you will create some very high quality graphics.

learning Illustrator would be your best move. most T-Shirt design are made with it or adapted to it because of the ink limitation inherent to textile printing.

The only non-school training that I know is any good is in French, but something similar should exist in English
