best place to print t-shirts online? (for college senior project)?
I am a graphic design student and I designed 10 shirts in adobe illustrator.
These are for my senior project and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place.
Online is ok, if anyone knows of a place in Miami or Fort Lauderdale that would be best.

If a parody is used in a non-critical means, as in, the idea is being parodied, does it infringe copyright?
A club at my school found a t-shirt design online and they wanted to use it as the club shirt. I was a little hesitant and they said not to worry they would change it up a little. (The design is a word search type thing and they said they would mix up the letters.) I am still hesitant that that might be an infringement on copyright, but am not sure. Can anyone tell me what copyright law says about this?
I would think that if you are not using the whole of the design and are changing it, that you would be fine. Although it might be Misappropriation, which is where an audience can tell that there are major similarities. It also depends on if you plan on selling it. If that is the case I would be very careful. If not, and you are just using it for a club logo, I think you would be fine.
T-Shirt Design Trademarks`?
I have an online T-shirt store & need to know what limitations I have printing Trade Marks(ie. Transformers/old cartoons) and selling them. Do I have to get authorized or pay royalties? Thanks in advance ![]()
Thank you Huh?… How would I go about getting authorization or approved designs to be able to print them myself? Google search isn’t yielding any real answers. A site like 80stees.com has tons of Hasbro owned TMs on there, how do they do it?
You need to be authorized to sell a trademarked item.
Sometimes you can obtain those rights easily, for example if you buy iron-on decals from an authorized distributor that has the trademarked characters on them, you can sell them. However you may not airbrush a trademarked character onto a shirt without a license from the trademark owner.
I once owned a shop that sold cakes. If we bought a overlay for the top of the cake with a Disney character on the cake that was OK, but if you came into the shop with a picture of a trademarked character and requested that we recreate the picture onto a cake we couldn’t do it.
Edit:
If you want to use the trademarked character you will have to contact the trademark holder and negotiate a licensing deal. It will mean paying royalties and possibly some control over the content of your tee shirt designs. For example Disney isn’t going to let you use a design showing mickey mouse holding a beer bottle and cigar.
Where can I buy a Strokes t-shirt online?
I’m looking for a girls, small-sized Strokes band shirt with a cool design. Preferably from a reliable, cheap website. Links, please?
Thanks!
Can someone give me a specific link from a reliable site that actually sells this t-shirt?
Recommend Amazon:

cheap online shirt maker?
I’m trying to find one of those online t-shirt makers where it’s cheap to order small amounts.I have a design in mind and I have made it on different sites, but most of them require me to buy a minimum of 6 (or more) and then the shirts end up costing 30 dollars per shirt. I don’t have a set price, but obviously, the cheaper the better.
I realize it’s not exactly what you asked, but did you know you can make iron-on designs with your inkjet printer? All it requires is a special paper made by Hewlett Packard and a cheap home iron. Twelve sheets of paper costs about $16, then you have to buy the shirts. See here: http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/C6049A

Whats the Best way to Make Custom T-shirts?
I want to sell my T-shirt designs online, only problem is, they are mostly colourful and with text, what would be the cheapest way/place to print the logos (I can probably supply the blank shirts)
Hi Ric,
Good question. I’m the Director of Marketing for CSE Graphic Outfitters and just recently came up with a plan for people just like yourself, I designed a drop shipment program at our company. This allows people to design their own images and sell them on their site without ever touching the shirt. You take your own orders, send them to us and we ship out the item to your customer. We do direct embroidery, screen printing, screen print transfers, make custom patches/emblems etc.
I think I have a program we could discuss. Here is a link to our site for the drop shipment.

We supply the shirts or you could provide them, which ever works best for you.
Lets talk, check us out.

What’s the best place to sell t-shirts online?
I want to start a merchandise store for my website and have a few t-shirt designs that I’m happy with. I’m aware of Cafe Press, but I wonder if there’s any store that does any (or even all) of the following things: (a) white on black printing (b) taking a lower commission (c) offering a better service in general?
I have no specific complaints against Cafe Press but would like to know about alternatives before I rush into anything. Thanks!
try to start independently and get the profits into ur pocket instead of sharing with a no of intermediaries. and if no then you may try http://www.utitees.com I like their stuff.
How do i set up a online store?
I’m currently in school for web design. I’m proficient with xhtml, css, and flash. I have a client that would like to sell their t shirts online. I have never designed a e-commerce site before. What would be a good route to take when desiging a e-commerce site? I thought about oscommerce and a yahoo merchant account. What should i do?
I would recommend a solution which manages content dynamically. If you apply a theme to a shopping cart that provides this capability, your friend can manage the content and the business while developing web skills over time.
Begin by reviewing several shopping cart packages. Unless you are prepared to learn programming, leave the cart structure to programmers, and select one which:
1. plays to your strengths in site building
2. is easy for your friend to use
3. offers the feature list which can best support the business.
This might well be Magento, but Zen Cart is a good candidate as well. osCommerce may be a bit more time consuming to modify, and likely would not support all the features needed out of the box for this type of business. My background is in PHP/MySQL Open Source – but don’t neglect other technologies.
