i mean like i want to put a slogan on it that i can’t find in stores…how do you do it?

It is actually very easy. There are plenty of websites that will let you do just that. I have compiled quite comprehensive list of these websites on my blog, here’s the link: http://designyourowntshirts.tumblr.com/post/10272541
In fact, there are sites, especially Threadless and Design by Humans, where you can enter your slogan in a contest and if it’s good, you can win money. Good luck :)

How to make your own T-shirt design?

Posted on January 19th, 2010 by admin in design your own shirt | 1 Comment »

My friend’s birthday is coming up, and I want to make them a T-shirt with a design I made on it, but I don’t know how exactly. I made the design on the computer and I’m planning on printing it off on cardstock and using it as a stencil, but what paint should I use? Do I buy fabric spray paint, or the regular old paints and a paint brush? How long will the design stay on the shirt, because I want it to be sort of like a screen print (I looked into screen printing but nobody will make me just one shirt).
Thanks for the help!
:)

I think fabric paint and paint brushes would be best. Depending on the kind of fabric paint you use it can stay on there any where from 2 years to forever.Wal-mart sells a really cheap kind, so I wouldn’t suggest that. Instead check out Plaid stores or Michales or Hobby Lobby.

Best of luck hope this helps :)

What are websites where I can design my own shirt?

I want to design a soccer shirt for my friend so if anyone knows a website where I can make a shirt? One where I can add pictures and words on the back and front, and I can rotate the words. It would also be cool if it looked like a soccer jersey, but if it’s just a regular shirt it’s ok. Thanks!

i want to design my own tee, but i cant seem to find anyplace that i can do it. please help :(

I think theres a place in the Myer basement section called bang on tee’s. You can design your own t there.

But Im not sure if its still there.

I dont know if this will help, but there are a few shops in Westfield Southland that allow you to design your own t shirt. Southland is in Cheltenham so its quite a bit further than the CBD…

But why not do your own? Its cheaper and you get to do it yourself.

Buy your own t shirt and iron-on designs and follow the instructions on the packet. You can buy the designs from shops like Lincraft

Is it legal to design your own T-shirt with a copyrighted slogan?

Posted on November 7th, 2009 by admin in design your own shirt | 2 Comments »

I want to design a T-shirt around the quote "You will fear my laser-face" from the last episode of the copyrighted webseries Red vs Blue. I DON’T plan on selling any shirts or making profit in any way. I just want to wear the shirt. Is this legal?

It’s not a copyright issue as much as a trademark one. But given that you don’t plan to sell it and are only making one, it shouldn’t be a problem as a practical matter.
