How do I get armpit stains out of shirts that have a design?

Posted on January 17th, 2011 by admin in design shirts | 2 Comments »

My boyfriend has a few tshirts that have yellow pit stains but they also have delicate screen print on them as well. I was looking for a way to get rid of them without ruining the designs on the shirts. And yes, he bathes and wears deodorant. Thanks!

Those stains are mineral deposits…deposits of Aluminium chlorohydrate + minerals from perspiration.

You can get rid of them with white vinegar.

Pour undiluted white vinegar over the areas. Allow to sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Then launder as usual.

The acids in the Vinegar will break down the deposits, allowing your washer to wash them away. Plus, Vinegar is safe for all colors.

Don’t use bleach on them….bleach makes those stains worse.

How do you make your own design on shirts?

Posted on January 15th, 2011 by admin in design shirts | 5 Comments »

I want to make my own designs
because I don’t want someone to
have the same shirt as me, so yeah..
Can anyone tell me the steps
and all the things I’ll need? Please
and thank you :D

if you go to Michaels craft stores, they have a small diy screen printing kit. its better than iron ons because it doesnt flake off as easily.

I am heading a powderpuff football game and have to design shirts. Any good ideas for high school kids?

Posted on January 5th, 2011 by admin in design shirts | 1 Comment »

The game is a traditional flag football game with the junior girls versus the senior girls. Junior and Senior boys coach the teams and cheerlead. Last year’s design had a ladies bathroom sign, then the same shape with a football in it, and then another ladies bathroom sign. It was so simple and everyone loved them!

I am heading the game this year and need a design for the t-shirts. Something simple but memorable for high school students. We want something simple, one color, no wording, but can’t decide on anything.

Ideas anybody?!

Well idk if this is simple but go for the senior SUPER SENIORS…like superman…and G.I. JUNIORS for the th juniors obviously…you can do camo and then red and blue for the seniors

What program could I use to keep an inventory of t-shirts and log and find them based on color design size etc?

Posted on October 28th, 2010 by admin in design shirts | 3 Comments »

I would like to have an intuitive program that can keep an inventory of shirts based on the design, shirt color, ink color, size, and location.

You can try to use Golden Inventory System. You’ll be able enter color, size, model and other parameters for each your item. It’s a free download software.
Or use the online MatrixNet system for clothes business. But you have to have a web server with ASP.Net for installation this system

How Do You Design T-Shirts (With Paint, Sharpies, Etc) ?

Ok, I’ve never done this in my life, and I’m pretty sure I’m not going to do to well with it, but I need to. I have to make a shirt for National Day Of Silence (fights against bullying toward LGBT students) because we don’t have time to order them. I really need some help ! How in the world do you do itt ?
I don’t even know what to use !

Go to Miceals or walamrt get iron on transfer paper you can either make you design with a computer and an ink jet printer or you can use a stencil. go to youtube it has lots of tutorials for this or check out websites on how its done.

Do you need a busness licence to sell your personly design t-shirts off the web?

Posted on March 14th, 2010 by admin in design shirts | 3 Comments »

I live in Mass by the way and wanted to sell t-shirts across the US to all my member of my website. I was wondering if you need a special type of licence and bassically what other terms do you need to be (aka age, bank account/credit card)

You may need a business license in the town you live in. At the very least you should do a DBA in the newspaper. You may need a tax ID number (state and federal) I don’t believe you will need any special license. Contact the SBA, they can help (for free)

What materials should I use to design your old shirts?

Posted on February 19th, 2010 by admin in design shirts | 1 Comment »

I got a pile of old shirts , I wanted to design them so i don’t need to throw them.
But the problem is i don’t know what materials i should use ?

that sounds like fun, i would make patchwork designs with contrasting colors, use some thread and do some embroidery to increase how much you can sell them for-DETAIL and quality will render you the biggest profit and mabey some piping or ric-rac might be nice…..beads, sequins etc. and store your work in a scented drawer because certain scents may appeal to the customer
