Im a 4th yr nursing student and I am joining a t-shirt design contest for our course. can i ask for any advices on what i should put on my design? thanks!

i am not looking for a program that just has clip art. i want to upload my own designs. How can i do this?

it easy just print your design through Photoshop or Coreldraw and load paper on to the printer..It will be good if printer have a pigment ink for good color and long lasting color..Print graphic on paper ..
load blank t shirt on heat press put paper onto top of t shirt and press Heat for 40 sec at 350f..

How do I make a transparent background (which will be whatever the particular color of the shirt is) for the artwork? I’m a beginner. Thanks

is your background white? if that’s the case, don’t worry about it. Remember, printers don’t print white unless you specify it. And home printers (inkjet/laser) dont print white period.
But if youre asking something else, then specify the question

I have heard some bad reports on cafepress.com, but if you can’t find what you like anywhere else they would be my last resort.

i am talking about protecting the design that you come up with or logo. sorry about the confusion.

Make sure that you always wash it inside out. I don’t know about any online reputable companies though.

we’v been looking for someone who can make us t-shirt designs from our ideas or something and a band logo but we cant seem to find anyone to do it.

and possibility to design our cd’s cover.

we have a band logo design already sketched out but need a pro to finish it =D
