I need a cool design for shirts I’m going to make for my field hockey team. Any ideas?

I’m going to use puffy paint but I need a way to make it look really cool and original. In the past, we have tie-dyed shirts and I need a new idea.

get a cool type of shirt. I work for a company that does shirt imprinting for a lot of school organization. We take the mascot, look around the internet for shirt ideas and try to incorporate the two.

Generally a customer will bring in something they like and say what can we do like this, and then we make up a design for them. There are people that will just do design work for you also, though I don’t know how you would get that to translate into puffy paint.

Are there any websites to buy custom t-shirts where i can upload my design from photoshop?

I am looking for a website that will make really quality shirts, where the design can stretch al the way to the bottom, not just a small square in the middle of the shirt. Id like to be able to upload formats with transparency and i dont really care how expensive the site is.

Try this
http://www.zazzle.com/?rf=238214238699777039
I don’t know how much they’ve changed now, used to be only a square in the middle tho.

How do I come up with my own t-shirts design and how do I get the design on the shirt and yeah?

I know someone that does this at my school and he is making some cash but I have some cool ideas for shirts that are pretty legit. So how do I get started?

Well, you’re on your own for coming up with the designs, but there are several websites out there that will print them and market them and ship them for you, too (see links, below).

Good luck!… :-D

I am not sure this will help, but there is a website called deviantart.com This website allows many artist and creators to sell their idems. The artist have commission, where they take other peoples request and create it depending on what the persons idea is. They have many design stuff that you may find interesting, and you could possible ask someone to create something for you : )

How do I repair tears or ‘cracks’ on a T-shirt design?

Posted on April 14th, 2011 by admin in shirt design | 2 Comments »

A friend bought me a T-shirt that had a design on it that was in white. After just 1 wash/dry a few ‘cracks’ started showing up on the face of the design making the color of the actual shirt visible. Could I just use a sort of paint to cover those areas up?

You could try using fabric paint for a repair job :)

tee shirt design software?

Posted on April 11th, 2011 by admin in tee shirt design | 2 Comments »

i want to get into making my own tee shirts. i just started so i know almost nothing. whats a good free software where i can make animation designs from scratch and print them onto transfer paper to iron on? bc i rly want a good sftware to be able to make designs custom to print out? and if i drew somthing can i scan it into my comp and print that out onto the tee shirt? thanks.

A bit more reading up is required – at least until you see that animations cannot be put on tees yet.

Basic directions come with the transfer paper. I like Corel Draw for the design part although you can use something as simple as Paint for transfers. Silk screen is a bit more complicated.

are you an amazing graphic designer? can you create an awsome tee shirt design?! i need your help!!?

I need someone to create a tee shirt design for our highschool fashion show, the theme is I AM FASHION, let your imagination run wild! make it unisex so guys and girls can wear it! send me the .jpg when your done please, thank you!!!
I hope you can design something awsome for me! please email me the picture of the design or something!!!

Depending on how far you’d like to compromise, you can go for any of the hundreds of thousands of amateur designers on the web – or you can seek out pros who understand BRANDING (which is really at the root of graphic design). Have a look at this article: http://logographicdesignservice.com/articles/what-does-graphic-design-do/ and then decide what kind of a designer you’re looking for.

Once you know that, assuming that you don’t want to settle for any old thing someone slaps together, seek out top designers such as Studio54 or others, and then compare their rates and work samples.

How much should I sell T-shirt designs for?

Posted on April 7th, 2011 by admin in shirt designs | 1 Comment »

I’ve recently talked to a local store and am interested in trying to sell designs to them. It’s a fan store and all they sell is gator clothing. So the way it works is i get the copyright permissions from the school and then they buy the design. However, i’ve never done this before and am clueless on the prices i should negotiate. If anyone can help that be great.

well, if the disigns are big probably about $25 or $30 if there small maybe $10 or $15
