Any good websites that you can make free shirt designs online?

Posted on January 30th, 2011 by admin in shirt designs | 1 Comment »

I want a GOOD website that will:
1. Let u make ANY type of shirt/ jeans u want 2 make
2. Let u design ALL types of designs such as stars, rainbows, animals, yin yans etc.
3. That is 100% FREE to make and deliver
Thanks!!!

Designing websites seemed a daunting task initially because I had no grounding or background in that field. I was forced to seek a good information source and came across this really neat one that allowed me to set up in very little time. Lots of tips on customising the site to my taste were also available. Do give it a try as you’ll most likely find it invaluable in assisting with any dificulties you’re facing.
Cheers and good luck.

What is the BEST software to design t-shirts in 3D?

Posted on January 27th, 2011 by admin in design shirts | 1 Comment »

I’m starting my own fashion line aimed at high-end boutiques. I got all these designs in my head but don’t have the software to visualize them. I’m not talking about any printing software for the shirts…just the software to make 3D designs of the shirts.

There is really good 2D software you can get for $47 and it’s called IllusionMage. It has similar concepts and structures of Pixar and DreamWorks. It can do anything 3D related including designing tshirts. http://illusionmage3dd.blogspot.com/ Check it out.

Is it illegal to print lyrics from songs onto T-shirts with creative design and sell them online?

I run a music blog and there’s a demand for T-Shirts. I was thinking of making shirts with lyrics of certain artists w/ my own creative design but I dont know if that’s illegal or not.

If it is illegal do you have any other suggestions?

Yes, selling them would be illegal

How to design t-shirts that look professional like what software do I need?

Not just ones with text on them, those are boring. I’m talking about ones that look artistic like this one http://www.coloroverload.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/t-shirt-designs-1.jpg is there a special program or do people pull images from the internet? But wouldn’t that be a copyright violation? I’m confused lol.

Photoshop or corel draw

How do I get armpit stains out of shirts that have a design?

Posted on January 17th, 2011 by admin in design shirts | 2 Comments »

My boyfriend has a few tshirts that have yellow pit stains but they also have delicate screen print on them as well. I was looking for a way to get rid of them without ruining the designs on the shirts. And yes, he bathes and wears deodorant. Thanks!

Those stains are mineral deposits…deposits of Aluminium chlorohydrate + minerals from perspiration.

You can get rid of them with white vinegar.

Pour undiluted white vinegar over the areas. Allow to sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Then launder as usual.

The acids in the Vinegar will break down the deposits, allowing your washer to wash them away. Plus, Vinegar is safe for all colors.

Don’t use bleach on them….bleach makes those stains worse.

I want to make my own designs
because I don’t want someone to
have the same shirt as me, so yeah..
Can anyone tell me the steps
and all the things I’ll need? Please
and thank you :D

if you go to Michaels craft stores, they have a small diy screen printing kit. its better than iron ons because it doesnt flake off as easily.

I am heading a powderpuff football game and have to design shirts. Any good ideas for high school kids?

Posted on January 5th, 2011 by admin in design shirts | 1 Comment »

The game is a traditional flag football game with the junior girls versus the senior girls. Junior and Senior boys coach the teams and cheerlead. Last year’s design had a ladies bathroom sign, then the same shape with a football in it, and then another ladies bathroom sign. It was so simple and everyone loved them!

I am heading the game this year and need a design for the t-shirts. Something simple but memorable for high school students. We want something simple, one color, no wording, but can’t decide on anything.

Ideas anybody?!

Well idk if this is simple but go for the senior SUPER SENIORS…like superman…and G.I. JUNIORS for the th juniors obviously…you can do camo and then red and blue for the seniors
