What materials should I use to design your old shirts?
I got a pile of old shirts , I wanted to design them so i don’t need to throw them.
But the problem is i don’t know what materials i should use ?
that sounds like fun, i would make patchwork designs with contrasting colors, use some thread and do some embroidery to increase how much you can sell them for-DETAIL and quality will render you the biggest profit and mabey some piping or ric-rac might be nice…..beads, sequins etc. and store your work in a scented drawer because certain scents may appeal to the customer
Survey: If your spouse lost a bet and had to wear a t-shirt of your own design, how would you describe it?
What would it say?
Violation Disclaimer: The above question is a friendly way of asking something important to me and should be considered serious. For the purpose of this question, assume that my spouse or I (or married friends) did lose a bet and we are looking for your ideas on what you would do.
It would read like this:
To the women that like to date taken men:
The man attached to this shirt cannot do laundry, doesn’t know how to balance a checkbook, farts when he pees, has socks that make a whole room smell like Salt and Vinegar chips, and snores loud enough to wake neighbors.
You still want him?

Where can I find Copyright Free Images for T-Shirt & Clothing Design?
I am looking to find good Large (At Least 5"x5"), High Quality (300 DPI minimum) images that are Copyright free and can be used in T-Shirt Design, or any other clothing design.
I see many clothing companies that have designs, and I know that they themselves did not personally create the images used in the designs. I am looking for either a place to buy copyright free designs or a link that will point me in the right direction.
Any help that any of you can offer will be great!

Can i sell t-shirts online if they are my own artwork but are of celebrities?
I would love to sell some of my t-shirt designs online.
Many people have expressed an interest in my artwork and have stated that they would like to see the designs on t-shirts. This has sparked my interest.
The designs are completely my own work, drawn from scratch on a blank canvas, but show celebrities faces. Comedians in fact. It is just their faces and shoulders, and occasionally a tag line (such as their name or "I love this person" etc.)
Is this illegal?
I’m thinking it must be but because the artwork is all my own i’m unsure.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
You could get into trouble if you are using the celebrities images without permission. A lot of people do this, and get away with it, but they are risking a lawsuit.
I would suggest looking into getting permission for each one you intend to use prior to using it. There are websites out there to help direct you, or you might contact an attorney who can direct you.
ex.
from a Ca Attorney.
Celebrities, athletes, and artists have certain rights in regard to the commercial use of their image, voice, or persona. Under sections 3344 and 3344.1 of the California Civil Code, reproducing or using the image, voice, or persona of someone without their permission constitutes a violation of their privacy rights.
Privacy rights extend to the celebrity status of deceased persons as well. Permission for the reproduction of photographs, movie stills, or other depictions of a deceased celebrity requires permission from the person or corporation who owns the rights to them. The Fergus law office enters into litigation against companies and individuals who violate the privacy rights of celebrities, recovering damages for lost royalties or harm to one’s reputation.

Design your own shirts online?
I want a couple of shirts with text on them maybe some art. The sites I have been to so far make you buy a certain amount of each but I only want one each. Are there any sights that let you buy singles of your design?
Try www.Cafepress.com They have tons of items you customize and buy. I have bought many different items from there but I have bought ones that have already been made. I haven’t figured out how to make things myself, maybe you can. Good luck.
Online shirt printing shop?
I made this design for a shirt. A bunch of people were going to buy it and wear it to this tour. I was going to sell them on cafepress but the shirts need to be red and cafepress doesn’t let you put a design on the front and back. I need a another place like cafepress to sell this. I need to be able to put these up on the site and have these people buy the shirts them selves so this isn’t a bulk order.

Send me your email address and I will email you a short presentation that details the site.
what program can be used to arrange fonts and graphics to design t-shirts?
anyone know of a free program? like how do they make those i heart new york shirts? i’m trying to find out how to bring my ideas to life to share with the world!
You can use any graphic program you want to make them. Even MS Word or Paint. You just have to get the right kind of paper, print your artwork onto that paper, and iron it onto a T-shirt.
I used to work for a company that made T-shirts this way. We used PaintShop and/or Corel Draw, but like I said, any program you can draw in, place images in, or whatever you can use.
Oh, one restriction, though.. those iron-ons only work on LIGHT colored shirts, preferably white. The color of the shirt will show through, and if it’s a black shirt, you won’t see it at all.
